02 — Why Wesha
Blocks bought at the quarry, not from a broker's warehouse
Egypt exports an enormous amount of stone, and a great deal of it passes through hands that have never seen the quarry. We are not one of them.
We buy our blocks at the quarries
We select and buy blocks at the Galala, Minya and Aswan quarries ourselves, not through a trading desk. That is why we can hold colour across a phased project and tell you honestly when a block is not available.
One factory, start to finish
Blocks are sawn, calibrated, finished and packed under one roof in Alexandria. Nothing is subcontracted, so nothing is out of our sight between your order and your container.
Built for importers
Export documentation, fumigated packing, container loading plans and photographs at every stage. Most of our clients never set foot in Egypt.
A price that survives the quote
We quote against a specific block or a specific batch. If the material changes, we tell you before we cut it — we do not substitute a lookalike and hope you will not notice.

04 — How an order runs
From enquiry to bill of lading
Enquiry
Send us the stone, finish, thickness, quantity and destination port. If you are still choosing, send the drawing or the mood board and we will shortlist for you.
Quotation
You get an itemised quote with FOB and CIF prices, a production lead time and the loading plan for each container.
Samples
Cut samples go out by courier — 10 × 10 cm as standard, A4 for finish comparison. Sample cost is credited against the first order.
Block selection
For slab orders we photograph the blocks and the sawn bundles in the yard. Nothing is polished until you have approved the material.
Production
Cutting, calibration, finishing and, for cut-to-size, piece marking against your setting-out drawings.
Inspection & packing
Every bundle is inspected, then crated in fumigated timber with steel A-frames, corner protection and moisture film. Photographs of the loaded container are sent before it leaves.
Shipping & documents
We book the vessel, and issue the bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and — where required — the fumigation certificate.
05 — Export
Built around the container, not around the counter
We load out of Alexandria, Port Said, Sokhna, quote EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP, and issue the full export document set. Minimum order is 1 × 20 ft container; consolidated mixed-stone containers are available on request.

Buying Egyptian marble and granite
Are you a factory or a trading company?
A factory. We buy and select blocks at the Egyptian quarries — we do not own quarries, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise — then saw, calibrate, finish, pack and export them ourselves from one site in the Abd El Kader manufacturing area in Alexandria. Everything after the block is ours, which is why we can photograph your material at every stage.
Which Egyptian marbles and granites do you supply?
95 stones in all: 35 marbles, 26 granites, plus engineered quartz, which we supply rather than manufacture, and a semi-precious range. The names that travel furthest are Galala, Sunny Menia and Silvia in marble, and New Halayeb, Grey Aswan, Aswan Red and Black Aswan in granite. Each has its own page with the formats, finishes and thicknesses produced for it.
Can you export to my country?
We load at Alexandria, Port Said, Sokhna and ship FOB or CIF to your port. Tell us the destination and we will come back with sailing options, transit time and the documents your customs will want, together with the quotation.
What is the minimum order?
One 20 ft container. Different stones, thicknesses and finishes can travel in the same load, so a first order does not have to be a single material.
Do you supply blocks, or only finished stone?
Both. Blocks squared, net-measured and sold by the cubic metre; gangsaw slabs bundled by block; calibrated tiles; paving setts and kerbs; and cut-to-size to your drawings, piece-marked against the laying plan.
How do I know the stone will match what I was shown?
You see it before it is cut. We send photographs of the actual blocks and bundles for your order, and a cut sample by courier in the finish and thickness you chose. Natural stone varies block to block, so we say plainly when a difference will show rather than let it arrive as a surprise. Buyers who prefer to choose in person are welcome in the yard.
Do you have test certificates?
We do not hold EN, ASTM or CE test reports to hand over. For the stone you choose we arrange water absorption, flexural strength and abrasion testing at an accredited laboratory, and the report comes back in your project’s name.
What do you need from me for a quotation?
Five things: the stone, the format and thickness, the finish, the quantity, and the destination port. A drawing or a bill of quantities shortens it further. We reply within one working day, with FOB and CIF prices and a lead time.
