Photographs of your actual slabs or bundles, or an inspection at the factory, before the 30 % is paid and before anything is loaded.

Shipping to Saudi Arabia

Most of what we ship into the Kingdom lands at Jeddah, for the western region and for Riyadh, or at Dammam for the Eastern Province. Jeddah is the short Red Sea crossing from Sokhna and usually the cheaper entry for Riyadh and the west; Dammam suits Dhahran, Khobar and the industrial east. We quote both and you take the better landed cost, with inland haulage to site on request.

The sea leg from Sokhna to Jeddah never leaves the Red Sea: no Strait of Hormuz, and none of the war-risk surcharges carried by the routes into the Gulf.

Transit times are indicative port-to-port sailing times and exclude customs and inland haulage. Confirm at booking — they move with the season and the service.

Sailings to Dammam pass through the Strait of Hormuz, where shipping has been disrupted since early 2026, so that route and its transit time are confirmed when the container is booked.

Documents, duty and clearance in Saudi Arabia

With every container: the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading, and a certificate of origin. Customs clearance at your end is yours or your broker's.

Saudi imports require SASO conformity and a certificate of origin. Saudi Arabia is a GAFTA member, so an Arab preference certificate of origin legalised through the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce removes duty on qualifying Egyptian goods.

Under the Greater Arab Free Trade Area, Egyptian-origin stone shipped with an Arab certificate of origin enters Saudi Arabia free of customs duty, while marble and granite from Turkey, China and India pay the normal rate. Confirm the current treatment with your customs broker before we load.
