New Halayeb is the boldest of the Egyptian light greys: the same grey-white ground as the Aswan greys, but with larger, denser black crystals, so the face carries real contrast instead of an even speckle. Flamed and tumbled — the way it usually goes out for paving — the surface reads lighter and softer than the polished slab.
A warm brown exterior → Halayeb
The original Halayeb bed gives a warm mid brown with large, clearly readable crystals. It is a forgiving exterior stone — dust and weathering barely register against the natural variation.
A light elevation → Bianco Halayeb
The light end of the Halayeb beds — a pale grey-white with fine black flecking, considerably brighter than Grey Aswan. It gives a facade the durability of granite while keeping the elevation light, which is otherwise hard in Egyptian material.
