Drag the slab to turn it, or use the arrow keys. Switching finish re-renders the surface — polished throws a hard specular, the abraded finishes open the surface up and knock the colour back.
Green Onyx is the high-contrast green of the range. The ground is a mid-to-deep green and the bands run out to near-white where the stone thins, so a slab reads as pale channels cut through a dark field rather than as even striping. Backlighting widens that gap instead of closing it: the thin bands go bright, the green goes close to black, and the panel turns graphic. That is either exactly what the scheme wants or the reason to look at something quieter. Honed and front-lit it calms down and behaves more like a dark marble. Slabs and cut-to-size are the only formats, polished or honed, and the block is bought in through partner supply rather than quarried by us. Vertical work is where it belongs: backlit panels, feature walls, bar fronts, reception desks. Table tops are listed too, but the material is soft and acid-sensitive, so a top in it will mark.
Light Green Onyx is the same colour family with far less separation between band and ground, and it is the one to reach for when the green has to run across a whole wall. Green Onyx is the one to reach for when a single panel has to carry the room.

Photographs
Green Onyx in the yard
Photographs of our own blocks, slabs and finished work. Slab photography shows one slab — the block it came from is what you are quoted against.
Laid out
Green Onyx across a floor
A photograph shows one slab on a stand. This shows the stone tile after tile — where the pattern repeats, how far the tone drifts across a batch, and what the joint does to it. Every tile here is cut from a different part of the surface, the way material comes out of a real crate.
Indicative layout. Tone drift is deliberate — no two tiles from one batch match exactly, and a laid floor should never look like one photograph repeated.
In the room
Green Onyx against your wall colour
Nobody buys stone on a white background. Put Green Onyx on the floor, up the wall or across a worktop, set the colour it will actually sit against, and change the light — the same three questions every client asks on a site visit, answered before the sample ships.
A scene, not a render of your project: proportions are indicative and colour on a screen is never the colour in a room. Send us the drawings and we will lay the real slab sizes out against your setting-out.
Surface
Green Onyx, close up
The slab above turns; this is the same stone at the size it sits in your hand. Change the finish and it re-cuts.

Formats
How Green Onyx is supplied
Gangsaw slabs
Full-size slabs from the gangsaw. Marble typically 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.6 – 1.9 m in 2 cm and 3 cm; granite 2 cm and 3 cm. Bundled by block so vein sequence is preserved.
Cut-to-size
Worked to your drawings — worktops, vanity tops, cladding panels, mitres, cut-outs, drainage grooves, undermount polishing. Supplied piece-marked to a setting-out plan. How a cut-to-size order runs

Asked about this stone
Green Onyx — questions buyers ask
Will several panels of Green Onyx match each other?
Not closely. Slabs are bundled by block so the vein sequence is preserved, and consecutive slabs out of one bundle are the only way to hold the pattern — with contrast this strong, a break between two panels is obvious from across a room.
What does honing do to it?
It drops the gloss and pulls the pale bands and the dark ground closer together, so the slab reads as a dark green surface rather than a striped one. Honed is also more forgiving of scratches, which is worth having on a stone this soft.
How should it be backlit?
Light the bands, not the slab. The green ground stays dark whatever you put behind it, so the effect comes almost entirely from the pale veining — set the lighting out against a lit sample of the actual slab rather than a render.
Can it be used for a bar top?
Bar fronts are the standard use and are safe. A bar top in Green Onyx will etch where citrus and spirits stand; if the top has to be this stone, hone it and plan for maintenance.
