Nigeria is the largest marble market in West Africa. Lagos dealers stock Italian, Turkish, Spanish, Indian and Chinese marble and granite for the towers of Eko Atlantic, Ikoyi and Banana Island and for the hotels going up in Lagos and Abuja. Egyptian beige marble gives a distributor the look of Spanish and Turkish beige from a different source, and Egyptian granite covers floors, stairs, kitchen tops and outdoor work.
The eight steps
Choose the stone
Send the name your market knows the stone by, or a photograph, and we match it to the blocks we can supply. Every stone has its own page with its colour, origin, finishes and formats.

Transit times are indicative port-to-port sailing times and exclude customs and inland haulage. Confirm at booking — they move with the season and the service.
Documents, duty and clearance in Nigeria
With every container: the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading, and a certificate of origin. Customs clearance at your end is yours or your broker's.
A certificate of origin, the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading travel with every container, and timber packaging is heat treated and marked to ISPM 15. Nigeria applies the ECOWAS common external tariff and its own import formalities: confirm the rate and the paperwork with your clearing agent before we load. For the stone you select we arrange water absorption, flexural strength and abrasion tests at an accredited laboratory.
