Accra's hotels, apartments and offices buy marble and granite from China, Italy, India, Portugal, Turkey and Spain today, and the city has one of the busiest luxury-hotel pipelines in West Africa. Egyptian beige marble competes directly with the Spanish and Turkish beige, and Egyptian granite with the imported granite for floors, stairs and kitchens.
The eight steps
Choose the stone
Send the name your market knows the stone by, or a photograph, and we match it to the blocks we can supply. Every stone has its own page with its colour, origin, finishes and formats.

Transit times are indicative port-to-port sailing times and exclude customs and inland haulage. Confirm at booking — they move with the season and the service.
Documents, duty and clearance in Ghana
With every container: the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading, and a certificate of origin. Customs clearance at your end is yours or your broker's.
A certificate of origin, the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading travel with every container, and timber packaging is heat treated and marked to ISPM 15. Ghana applies the ECOWAS common external tariff plus its own levies: confirm the rate and any requirement with your clearing agent before we load. For the stone you select we arrange water absorption, flexural strength and abrasion tests at an accredited laboratory.
