Galala Classic is the stone the rest of the Egyptian beige range gets measured against. The ground is a warm cream-beige with a fine, even crystal and only occasional soft clouding, so a large floor reads as one continuous surface rather than a run of separate slabs. It also carries the widest processing range in the family: six finishes, polished through to sandblasted, and every marble format on the list, from blocks and slabs to steps, sills and mesh-mounted mosaic. A lobby floor, its stair, the thresholds and a shower mosaic can all come out of the same material. The brushed and sandblasted faces are the ones that take it outside onto facades. Block production on the Galala faces is continuous rather than campaign-based, which is what makes a phased programme workable: the last container can still be matched back to the first, and a repeat order two years on is a reasonable request rather than a hopeful one.
Against Perlato Galala, which comes off the same mountain, Classic is the calm one: Perlato's pearl pockets give a floor movement and swallow wear, while Classic gives an even ground that lets the joinery, the art or the rug be the thing you look at. Specify Classic when the floor should recede, Perlato when it should not show a traffic path.

How Galala Classic is supplied
Blocks
Quarry blocks selected and squared. Typical 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.5 × 1.5 m, 18 – 30 tonnes. Sold by m³, loaded on flat rack or in-container with steel cradles.
Gangsaw slabs
Full-size slabs from the gangsaw. Marble typically 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.6 – 1.9 m in 2 cm and 3 cm; granite 2 cm and 3 cm. Bundled by block so vein sequence is preserved.
Tiles
Calibrated tiles in 30×30, 30×60, 40×40, 60×60, 60×120 cm and free length, 1.0 – 3.0 cm. Edges straight-cut or bevelled, back-mesh on request.
Cut-to-size
Worked to your drawings — worktops, vanity tops, cladding panels, mitres, cut-outs, drainage grooves, undermount polishing. Supplied piece-marked to a setting-out plan. How a cut-to-size order runs

Galala Classic — questions buyers ask
Can I match a repeat order of Galala Classic two years after the first shipment?
This is the Egyptian beige where that is a realistic ask — block production on the Galala faces is continuous rather than campaign-based, which is why availability is listed as very high. Keep a tile from the first delivery as your control and send it back with the repeat order rather than reordering against the name alone.
Can I get the mosaic, sills and treads in the same Galala Classic as the floor?
Yes. It is supplied in every marble format we make — blocks, slabs, tiles, cut-to-size, steps, sills and mesh-mounted mosaic — so a floor, its stair, the thresholds and a shower mosaic can all be cut from it. Ask on the order for them to come off the same blocks, since separately produced batches drift in tone.
Is Galala Classic suitable for an external facade?
Facades are on its application list, and it is one of the few beiges here run in both sandblasted and tumbled as well as brushed — those are the faces used outside, not the polish. Send us the exposure and the fixing detail before you close the specification.
What is the difference between Galala Classic, Galala Beige and Galala Light?
None — Galala Beige and Galala Light are trade names for this same material in different markets. What you do need to confirm is that you are not being offered Galala Extra instead, which is a separate, paler selection off the same faces.
