02 — Paperwork

What has to travel with it

A certificate of origin, the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading travel with every container, and timber packaging is heat treated and marked to ISPM 15. Confirm the tariff and any import requirement with your clearing agent before we load. For the stone you select we arrange water absorption, flexural strength and abrasion tests at an accredited laboratory.

Granite slabs for countertops and vanity tops

Aswan Red, Gandola and Black Aswan come as polished slabs at 2 cm and 3 cm for fabricators, or as countertops and vanity tops cut to your drawings, piece-marked and crated in installation order. A mixed container is fine.

What is the smallest order?

One 20 ft container. Several stones and thicknesses can share it.

How do you take payment?

50 % in advance, 30 % on your approval of the finished production and 20 % before shipping.

Can you send samples first?

Yes: cut samples by courier, paid by the buyer.

Quoting for South Africa?

Send the stone, the finish, the thickness, the quantity and the destination port. You get FOB and CIF prices and a lead time, usually within one working day.
