Pay in three stages

50 % in advance, on order; 30 % after your approval of the finished production; 20 % before shipping.

Approve the stone before it ships

Photographs of your actual slabs or bundles, or an inspection at the factory, before the 30 % is paid and before anything is loaded.

Shipping to Kuwait

In normal times containers for Kuwait land at Shuwaikh, beside Kuwait City, or at Shuaiba to the south, and go on by road to sites across the country; while sailings through the Strait of Hormuz are disrupted, the port of entry and the route are confirmed when the container is booked. We quote CIF to your port, or DAP to site where you would rather have one contract to the door, with the container count for every stone and thickness on the quotation.

Transit times are indicative port-to-port sailing times and exclude customs and inland haulage. Confirm at booking — they move with the season and the service.

Sailings into the Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz have been disrupted since early 2026, so the route and the transit time are confirmed when the container is booked.

Documents, duty and clearance in Kuwait

With every container: the commercial invoice, the packing list and the bill of lading, and a certificate of origin. Customs clearance at your end is yours or your broker's.

Kuwait is a GAFTA member; confirm with your clearing agent whether Egyptian-origin stone qualifies for preference, and we supply the certificate of origin with every container. Kuwait also operates a conformity assurance scheme requiring a technical evaluation for regulated goods — confirm the current scope for stone with your clearing agent, as the regulated list is revised. Timber packaging is heat treated to ISPM 15.
