Crema Egypt is chosen when the stone has to disappear. The ground is a light, milky cream, the veining is barely there, and the tonal spread inside a single block is unusually tight — which is the specification that matters when a corridor runs the length of a floor plate, or when every guest bathroom has to look like the last one. Take the quantity from one block and the panels will not argue with each other. The finishes stop at polished, honed and brushed: there is no antique or tumbled grade, and there would be little point in one, since the reason to buy this stone is its evenness and a distressed surface works against it. Mesh-mounted mosaic is a supplied format, which is what lets it do a whole bathroom — floor, wall cladding and vanity top in a single cream. Sills and thresholds are made; steps are not.
Galala Extra is the other near-uniform cream in the range, but it is a selection — the palest blocks, selected block by block and cut separately, with a longer lead time to match. Crema Egypt is not a selected grade; the tonal spread within a block is tight to begin with, which is why supply stays high.

How Crema Egypt is supplied
Blocks
Quarry blocks selected and squared. Typical 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.5 × 1.5 m, 18 – 30 tonnes. Sold by m³, loaded on flat rack or in-container with steel cradles.
Gangsaw slabs
Full-size slabs from the gangsaw. Marble typically 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.6 – 1.9 m in 2 cm and 3 cm; granite 2 cm and 3 cm. Bundled by block so vein sequence is preserved.
Tiles
Calibrated tiles in 30×30, 30×60, 40×40, 60×60, 60×120 cm and free length, 1.0 – 3.0 cm. Edges straight-cut or bevelled, back-mesh on request.
Cut-to-size

How consistent is it from panel to panel?
The tonal spread inside a single block is unusually tight, and that is the stone's entire argument. Take a matched run from one block and every panel will look like the last.
Why is the finish list so short?
Polished, honed and brushed, and nothing else. There is no antique or tumbled grade — the reason to buy this cream is its evenness, and a distressed surface undoes exactly that.
Is there a mosaic to match?
Yes, mesh-mounted mosaic is a supplied format. It is why the stone often ends up doing a whole bathroom — floor, wall cladding and vanity top in one cream instead of three near-misses.
Is it suitable for a vanity top?
Vanity tops are a listed application and it is cut to size for them. Because the ground is so pale and so even, a stain or an etch mark has nothing to hide behind, so honed is the more forgiving finish here than polished.
