Drag the slab to turn it, or use the arrow keys. Switching finish re-renders the surface — polished throws a hard specular, the abraded finishes open the surface up and knock the colour back.
Statuario Alba draws thin, decisive grey veins across a cool white ground, with no gold anywhere in them. That is the whole difference from Calacatta Nile, and it is why this is the one that goes on a full kitchen rather than a single island: at the scale these veins are drawn, a complete worktop run with a splashback above it still reads as one calm surface, where a bolder pattern repeated the length of the room starts to shout. The white is cool rather than creamy, so it sits with grey cabinetry, stainless and chrome without argument — and against a warm beige stone it will not. It is the option when the room already has its colour somewhere else, in the floor or the joinery, and the worktop is meant to be a quiet veined white and nothing more. Wall cladding is on its list as well as tops.
Carrara Mist is the quieter relation: diffuse grey drift instead of drawn veins, made for jobs where dozens of pieces have to sit together without any one of them catching the eye. Statuario Alba keeps its veins legible — choose it when the pattern is meant to be seen.

Photographs
Statuario Alba in the yard
We are photographing this material now. Until the shoot is done, the turning slab and the close-up below are renderings, and the honest answer to “what does it actually look like” is a sample in your hand.
No photographs yet. Ask us for the current slab and block photographs of Statuario Alba — we shoot them on request, in the yard, with a scale in frame. A cut sample goes out by courier the same week.
Laid out
Statuario Alba across a floor
A photograph shows one slab on a stand. This shows the stone tile after tile — where the pattern repeats, how far the tone drifts across a batch, and what the joint does to it. Every tile here is cut from a different part of the surface, the way material comes out of a real crate.
Indicative layout. Tone drift is deliberate — no two tiles from one batch match exactly, and a laid floor should never look like one photograph repeated.
In the room
Statuario Alba against your wall colour
Nobody buys stone on a white background. Put Statuario Alba on the floor, up the wall or across a worktop, set the colour it will actually sit against, and change the light — the same three questions every client asks on a site visit, answered before the sample ships.
A scene, not a render of your project: proportions are indicative and colour on a screen is never the colour in a room. Send us the drawings and we will lay the real slab sizes out against your setting-out.

Statuario Alba, close up
The slab above turns; this is the same stone at the size it sits in your hand. Change the finish and it re-cuts.
Roughly a 130 mm span of Statuario Alba, polished. A rendered preview, not a photograph of stock — ask for a physical sample before you specify.

Asked about this stone
Statuario Alba — questions buyers ask
Will it sit with Egyptian beige marble elsewhere in the building?
No — the ground is a cool white and it will read blue-grey against a warm beige stone. Sahara Gold is the quartz in this line made to sit beside the Galala and Sunny marbles.
Statuario Alba or Calacatta Nile for a vanity top?
Both are listed for vanities. Statuario Alba's finer veining gives a small piece more to look at, where a broad Calacatta Nile vein can land as a single stripe; if the room has brass ironmongery, the gold thread in Calacatta Nile is the argument the other way.
Can the splashback come out of the same slab as the top?
Yes, and it is worth doing — both are on its application list. The veining is fine enough that a splashback cut from the same slab reads as continuous even though the veins do not literally line up across the joint.
Polished or honed?
Both are produced. Polished keeps the thin grey veins crisp on the cool ground; honed drops the contrast, which on veining this fine is a real loss. If you want a quiet honed white with movement, look at Carrara Mist instead.
