Carrara Mist is the low-contrast slab in the white group: a soft white-grey ground with grey drift that fades in and out rather than resolving into hard veins. That matters most where the material is bought by the hundred square metre. In a hotel bathroom programme or an apartment block, dozens of vanity tops and splashbacks have to sit together without one piece pulling the eye, and a diffuse pattern gives the cutting shop far more freedom than a directional one: pieces can be taken from wherever the slab yields best rather than sequenced in order. Colour is held at batch level, so a phased delivery still lands on the same white. It is made to order in polished and honed, in slabs and cut-to-size, and the drift reads much the same either way; the finish decides how much light the room throws back, not how the pattern behaves.

Gangsaw slabs
Full-size slabs from the gangsaw. Marble typically 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.6 – 1.9 m in 2 cm and 3 cm; granite 2 cm and 3 cm. Bundled by block so vein sequence is preserved.

Carrara Mist — questions buyers ask
Is this Italian Carrara marble?
No. It is engineered quartz made to a carrara pattern, so there is nothing to seal and it will not etch from citrus or wine. Our natural marble range is Egyptian — Galala, Sunny, Milly Gray — so if you want stone rather than quartz, the look is a different one.
Do the panels need sequencing or vein matching?
No. The grey drift is diffuse and has no strong direction, so pieces do not have to be run in slab order and joints do not have to be vein-matched. Cut it for yield instead.
Will a second shipment match the first?
Colour on engineered quartz is controlled at batch level, so a repeat order comes back on the same white. On a phased fit-out give us the total area at the start so the whole quantity can come from one production run.
Polished or honed for a bathroom?
Both are standard on this colour. The drift is low contrast in either finish, so the decision is about how much light the room throws back, not about how the pattern reads.
