Golden Cream is sawn two ways and this is the vein cut: the block is taken along its bed, so the gold veining reaches the slab as straight parallel lines rather than as figure. Laid end to end, a floor in it acquires a direction, and that has to be decided at setting-out because the lines will be read whichever way they run. Book-matched on a wall the pattern closes into a symmetry that needs nothing else on the panel, which is why wall cladding and feature walls come ahead of flooring in what it is specified for. The ground is a soft cream that sits beside oak and brass without competing with either. Polished, honed and brushed are the finishes cut, and sills are in the format list, so a reveal or a threshold can be run in the same stone as the wall above it.
Golden Cream Flower is the same block sawn the other way, across the bed, and it opens into rounded figure instead of lines. Order by the cut rather than by the name: "Golden Cream" on its own does not tell the saw which face you want.

How Golden Cream Vein is supplied
Blocks
Quarry blocks selected and squared. Typical 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.5 × 1.5 m, 18 – 30 tonnes. Sold by m³, loaded on flat rack or in-container with steel cradles.
Gangsaw slabs
Full-size slabs from the gangsaw. Marble typically 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.6 – 1.9 m in 2 cm and 3 cm; granite 2 cm and 3 cm. Bundled by block so vein sequence is preserved.
Tiles
Calibrated tiles in 30×30, 30×60, 40×40, 60×60, 60×120 cm and free length, 1.0 – 3.0 cm. Edges straight-cut or bevelled, back-mesh on request.

Golden Cream Vein — questions buyers ask
What is the difference between Golden Cream Vein and Golden Cream Flower?
The cut, not the quarry. Vein is sawn along the bed and gives straight parallel gold lines; Flower is sawn across it and gives rounded, open figure. State which one you want on the order — they are not interchangeable on the same wall.
Can it be book-matched?
Yes, and it is why most buyers take this cut rather than the cross cut. Gangsaw slabs are bundled by block so the vein sequence is preserved; ask for the bundle to stay intact through shipping and for the pieces to be numbered so the sequence survives to site.
Does vein direction matter on a floor?
Yes. With a straight vein the floor gains a direction, so tell us at order stage which way the lines should run relative to the room. It is the one decision on this stone that cannot be corrected once the pieces are cut.
Which finishes are cut on the vein face?
Polished, honed and brushed. There is no antique grade on the vein cut — Golden Cream Flower, the cross cut, is the face that carries antique.
