Cut across the bed instead of along it, the same Eastern Desert block that gives Golden Cream Vein its straight lines opens into rounded, flowering figure. It is the expressive face of the stone and it wants a single large surface — a hotel lobby floor, a bath surround, a run of vanity tops — where a straight vein would read as regimented. The figure runs at a larger scale than the vein cut, so it needs area to make sense; sills are in the format list and can be cut, but on a narrow reveal the pattern arrives as fragments. Blocks are selected for figure rather than taken in turn, which is what the availability line means: supply is high, but assembling a matched quantity takes longer than the same square metres of the vein cut. Antique is cut on this face as well as polished, honed and brushed.
Golden Cream Vein is the same block sawn along the bed — straight parallel gold lines, and the easier of the two to lay in quantity because adjacent slabs behave predictably. Take Flower when one surface has to carry the room, and Vein when several rooms have to look like each other.

Gangsaw slabs
Full-size slabs from the gangsaw. Marble typically 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.6 – 1.9 m in 2 cm and 3 cm; granite 2 cm and 3 cm. Bundled by block so vein sequence is preserved.
Tiles
Calibrated tiles in 30×30, 30×60, 40×40, 60×60, 60×120 cm and free length, 1.0 – 3.0 cm. Edges straight-cut or bevelled, back-mesh on request.

Golden Cream Flower — questions buyers ask
How much does it vary from slab to slab?
More than the vein cut does. A cross cut opens the bed into rounded figure that does not repeat, which is the point of taking this face. If the quantity is going into one continuous surface, approve the actual slabs at the approval stage rather than working from a sample.
Why does a matched quantity take longer than for the vein cut?
Because the blocks are selected for how they open rather than taken in turn — that is what "high, selected for figure" means on this record. The stone itself is in steady supply; the selection is what adds the time.
Where does the cross cut work badly?
On anything narrow. Sills are in the format list and can be cut, but the figure runs at a larger scale here than on the vein cut, so on a reveal or a threshold width it reads as fragments. Take the vein cut for the trim and keep Flower for the floor or the bath surround.
Which finish for a lobby floor?
Polished if the gold is meant to carry the space, honed if it is a working floor — honed is matt, less slippery wet and far more forgiving of scratches. Antique is also cut on this face and softens a large expanse of figure without losing it.
