Petrified Wood Retro is fossilised timber: wood that mineralised over millions of years and now saws and polishes as a quartz-family stone, at Mohs 6–7 rather than the 3–4 of the onyxes. It is cut across the trunk, so the face carries the growth-ring structure of a single tree in tight concentric rings running from pale cream through to dark brown. That is also what limits it. Every panel comes off a different section and no two are the same age, so the figure cannot be sequenced the way slabs bundled by block can. Treat each piece as its own layout and decide where the ring centre falls before anything is cut. Feature walls, table tops, bar fronts, reception desks and decorative objects are the listed uses; it is a resin-backed panel, so no floors, no external work, no heavy traffic. Polished only, and supplied as slabs or cut-to-size made up from cut sections, so ask what panel size the material will give before the elevation is drawn.
Brown Agate is the other brown here with ring figure, but its rings are concentric mineral banding rather than the growth rings of a tree, and it is the easier of the two to pair with timber and brass. If the point of the specification is that the panel is a fossil, only Petrified Wood Retro is one.

No. Each panel is a cross-section of a different tree, so nothing sequences and nothing repeats. Plan the wall as a set of individual pieces and select them from the slab images.
Is it hard enough for a table top?
Table tops are one of the listed uses and it is a quartz-family stone at Mohs 6–7, harder than any onyx here. It is still a resin-backed panel, so it stays off floors, off external work and out of heavy traffic.
Is this the same thing as Petrified Wood?
