Grey Agate has the same concentric ring structure as the blue with the colour taken out: white through mid grey to near-black, the bands doing all the work. Because there is no colour to reconcile with the rest of a scheme, it is the agate that takes area, a run of panels across a reception wall rather than one showpiece. Take area to mean tolerable, not matched. Every slab is still a different cut through the rings and no two repeat. We list it for backlit panels, feature walls, table tops, reception desks and bar fronts, and supply it polished; honed is offered on the quartz and most of the onyx here, not on the agates. Imported block through our supply partnership, made up from cut sections and backed with mesh and resin. Ask early with a quantity, because this is quoted against the slabs actually in stock.
Blue Agate is the same structure and the same slab-by-slab supply, but it commits the room to a colour and generally works as a single panel. Grey Agate gives you the ring figure and leaves the palette to everything else, which is what makes a run of panels possible.

How much do slabs vary?
The palette stays put — white through mid grey to near-black — but the figure does not: every slab is a different cut through the rings. Neighbouring panels sit together without clashing; they do not repeat.
Can I run it across a whole reception wall?
It is the agate that takes area, because there is no colour to reconcile with the rest of the scheme. Confirm quantity at enquiry: this is quoted against slabs in stock, not produced to order.
Does it backlight?
Backlit panels are one of the five uses we list for it, and its high-contrast banding is what a light behind it shows. Tell us at enquiry if the panel will be lit, so the banding can be picked to run the way the design wants.
Table top or wall?
Both are listed, along with reception desks and bar fronts. On a table the rings are seen square-on from above, which is where the angle of the cut through the bands shows most; flooring and external use are excluded for the whole semi-precious group.
