Miele Flower is the same honey onyx as Miele, cut so the banding closes into rosettes instead of running as lines. That changes how it is bought more than how it looks in the hand. Book-matched panels head its list of uses because the figure mirrors: two slabs opened like a book give a symmetry, four give the full rosette, and that only works with consecutive slabs from one block. The quantity available is therefore whatever that block yields, and the layout has to be settled before the slabs are cut rather than after. Backlit, the ground behaves as Miele's does; what changes is that the light falls on figure instead of on bands. Ask for photographs of the consecutive slabs before you commit to a layout: the mirror only works if one block has them. Polished or honed like the plain Miele, and quoted slab by slab.
Onyx Miele is the same ground cut the other way: continuous bands, easier to run across several panels, and the choice when you want warm onyx without a focal point. Miele Flower is the centrepiece version — one wall, one bar front, one mirrored set — and a block-level decision rather than a square-metre one.

How many panels can be book-matched?
As many as one block yields — the mirror needs consecutive slabs, so the run is limited by that block rather than by the material in general. Four panels is the arrangement it is built around: two mirrored pairs closing the rosette.
Can I use it alongside plain Onyx Miele?
Yes. Same honey ground, so the colour carries: use the flower panels for the figure and the plain Miele for the quiet runs between them. They will come from different blocks, so expect a shift in tone at the join.
Does the rosette figure survive backlighting?
Yes, and the light lands on figure rather than along a band, which is the difference from plain Miele. Mock it up lit before the layout is approved — the mirrored joint is where the eye goes.
Can I see the slabs before committing?
