Forsan is the fine-grained red. Where the Aswan granites break into individually legible crystals at arm's length, Forsan's grain is tight enough that a polished surface holds one uniform read from across a room, and that is why it is specified for kitchen tops and flush cladding as readily as for paving. The colour is a darker red-brown rather than a bright red, and it sits better against bronze and dark metalwork than against brass. Leathered is cut on it, which on a ground this dark is usually the right worktop surface. Kerbs and cobbles are not in its format list: this is a blocks, slabs, tiles, cut-to-size and steps stone, so it does not cover a landscape scheme on its own. It is currently flagged as unavailable to order, so treat it as a specification to check on rather than one to price.
Hurghada Red is the opposite choice among the reds: brighter, heavily flecked, cut in kerbs and cobbles, and offered without a honed finish. Forsan is darker and finer and holds a single tone, which is what takes it indoors onto worktops. Both are flagged unavailable to order at the moment.

How Forsan Red is supplied
Blocks
Quarry blocks selected and squared. Typical 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.5 × 1.5 m, 18 – 30 tonnes. Sold by m³, loaded on flat rack or in-container with steel cradles.
Gangsaw slabs
Full-size slabs from the gangsaw. Marble typically 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.6 – 1.9 m in 2 cm and 3 cm; granite 2 cm and 3 cm. Bundled by block so vein sequence is preserved.
Tiles
Calibrated tiles in 30×30, 30×60, 40×40, 60×60, 60×120 cm and free length, 1.0 – 3.0 cm. Edges straight-cut or bevelled, back-mesh on request.
Cut-to-size
Worked to your drawings — worktops, vanity tops, cladding panels, mitres, cut-outs, drainage grooves, undermount polishing. Supplied piece-marked to a setting-out plan. How a cut-to-size order runs

Can I order Forsan Red now?

What does the finer grain actually change?
How the stone reads at distance, not how it performs. Polished, the surface holds an even red-brown where the Aswan granites resolve into visible crystals — useful on a worktop or a flush cladding plane where speckle would be read as noise.
Which finishes are cut on it?
Polished, honed, flamed, leathered and bush-hammered. Sandblasted is not among them, so where a sandblasted external texture is called for, Aswan Red and Rosa El Nasr carry it and Forsan does not.
Can it be used outside?
External paving and facades are both listed uses, and flamed and bush-hammered are cut for that work. But there are no kerbs or cobbles in its format list, so the kerb line and setts of a landscape scheme would have to come from another granite.
