Drag the slab to turn it, or use the arrow keys. Switching finish re-renders the surface — polished throws a hard specular, the abraded finishes open the surface up and knock the colour back.
Sunny Medium is a grade rather than a separate quarry. The same Minya face that gives Sunny Menia and Sunny Dark also yields blocks that land between the two, and those are pulled out and sold as Medium: a warm honey ground that stops short of Dark's amber. Most enquiries for it come from a job that has already laid Sunny somewhere and now needs a second tone close enough to sit beside the first, a darker stair against a lighter floor, or sills a shade down from the field. Availability is high, so it can be planned as a volume material rather than treated as a feature. The finish list runs to tumbled and antique as well as polished, honed and brushed, which is why it turns up on pool surrounds as often as on interior floors: both take the gloss off and leave a surface with grip underfoot.
Sunny Menia is the lighter, very-high-availability grade off the same face and the one to use if the floor should stay pale. Sunny Dark is the amber end of the bed, with the pronounced banding and russet vein edge that Medium does not carry.

Photographs
Sunny Medium in the yard
Photographs of our own blocks, slabs and finished work. Slab photography shows one slab — the block it came from is what you are quoted against.
Laid out
Sunny Medium across a floor
A photograph shows one slab on a stand. This shows the stone tile after tile — where the pattern repeats, how far the tone drifts across a batch, and what the joint does to it. Every tile here is cut from a different part of the surface, the way material comes out of a real crate.
Indicative layout. Tone drift is deliberate — no two tiles from one batch match exactly, and a laid floor should never look like one photograph repeated.
In the room
Sunny Medium against your wall colour
Nobody buys stone on a white background. Put Sunny Medium on the floor, up the wall or across a worktop, set the colour it will actually sit against, and change the light — the same three questions every client asks on a site visit, answered before the sample ships.
A scene, not a render of your project: proportions are indicative and colour on a screen is never the colour in a room. Send us the drawings and we will lay the real slab sizes out against your setting-out.
Surface
Sunny Medium, close up
The slab above turns; this is the same stone at the size it sits in your hand. Change the finish and it re-cuts.
Roughly a 130 mm span of Sunny Medium, polished. A rendered preview, not a photograph of stock — ask for a physical sample before you specify.

How Sunny Medium is supplied

Quarry blocks selected and squared. Typical 2.6 – 3.0 × 1.5 × 1.5 m, 18 – 30 tonnes. Sold by m³, loaded on flat rack or in-container with steel cradles.
Gangsaw slabs

Asked about this stone
Sunny Medium — questions buyers ask
Can Sunny Medium be matched with Sunny Menia or Sunny Dark on the same job?
The three grades come off one Minya face, which is what makes them work together, and Medium is normally bought as the second tone on a project that has already used Sunny. Say at order stage that the grades are for one scheme so the blocks can be chosen against each other.
Do I need to specify a cut direction?
It is worth settling before the block is sawn. Sunny Menia off the same face is supplied vein-cut or cross-cut and the two read as different materials, so state which face you want and keep a single cut running through one area.
Which finish suits a pool surround?
Brushed or tumbled. Brushed opens the surface while keeping the honey colour warm, and tumbled rounds the arrises for a non-slip face; keep polished for the interior floor if the same stone runs through.
Is there enough of it for a large floor?
Availability is high, though a step below Sunny Menia's, because Medium is one graded selection off the face rather than the whole bed. Send the area and thickness early so the quantity can be confirmed against the blocks running.
